SR 3 / SR 104 / SR 303 / SR 307 / SR 308 Kitsap County Remove Fish Barriers Project

English  |  EspaƱol

Overview

Starting in 2027, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will correct six fish passage barriers. The barriers cross under Bond Road (SR 307) and SR 308 in Kitsap County. The work will benefit Dogfish Creek, Big Scandia Creek, Little Scandia Creek to Liberty Bay, and an unnamed tributary to Puget Sound.

WSDOT is proposing to close each location. During the work, a section of the roadway will be removed, and replaced with a fish-passable culvert or bridge. While the road is closed, signed detours will be provided.
